Random thoughts. ..

Today, I have been busy with a whole lot...Most often I am busy with nothing but today I have been busy doing a lot things....lol..But even in the midst of a lot of activities,  I was thinking about how it's been long since I posted on my blog so I decided to share the thoughts that have made my head a time bomb ready to explode any minute from now...hahaha.. many random thoughts....let's imagine that the white man knows what fufu is. Don't you think we would have gotten ourselves a fufu pounding machine already? O God, rescue our Motherland!. May the big minds invent this machine so we can prepare our meal without fear that in the next minute our fingers are going to turn bloody..*grin*..
For the past few days I have been up and about with the mindset that our thoughts drive us. We are the physical representation of what our minds think about. Our actions, dreams and inactions all find their roots in the arena of our mind. Even Albert Einstein who was said to be a slow learner was able to achieve a whole lot just by setting and using his mind to focus on a whole lot of useful things. For the record,  he is said to have suffered from dyslexia; a condition of the brain that makes the patient unable to read, write or Spell! Amazing, right? God works in mysterious ways indeed.!
And finally,  I read a quote which says, 'even our shadow leaves us in darkness'. I laugh now because I know it has set your thoughts into motion. For a moment there, I know you thought you were solving an algebra task...lol. But in a strange inexplicable way, I don't agree with that at all. A SHADOW  is formed when and only when an opaque object comes between a light source and a screen. (My physics teacher taught me well..lol) Thus, I find it quite wrong to make this allusion because I haven't been neglected even by my 'shadow' in my moments of darkness. If it's the issue of trust, I think complete trust should be given to nobody but God. However,  we could give some little amount of trust and I believe trust is trust no matter how little. Agree? AGREED! Aha! Back to my moments of darkness, amazingly I have been able to thrive till light permeated through it. Nobody is perfect but there are always people who have  the upper hand . They have much experience and they come as light that  permeate our darkness leaving our need for our 'shadows' as redundant...

I know a story of a man
Who knew a way to find the light
That made him a man
Who understood his plight
He sought
He fought
Till he lost hope
And dwelt on his thoughts
He combed through his mind
Understanding the risks
Times spent wandering
Left him wondering
If he could rely on letting
His mind wander
And just wonder
If the risks were worth taking
Eventually,
After hoping against hope
He rose against the tide of odds
He wasn't wrong
He knew he could find the light
Of course, he never gave up
On the other options
He gave up on his 'shadow'
Reduced himself to nothing
And found the antidote
It stared at him right in the face
In order to find the light,
He had to be led to the light
That was It!
His thoughts catapulted him into
A great realisation.
He knew he could find the light
But he didn't realise he couldn't
If he relied on himself
His shadow.

What am I driving at? Well, this is a random thought but let's understand the reward for humility-we find answers we didn't know. If you are ever in a situation that looks hopeless, please hold on to the last straw of hope that you would find someone who can help you. Shed off pride and seek help . Also, let your thoughts dwell on positive things because it's in the battlefield of the mind that battles are either lost or won. AND finally, O Ghana, please invent a fufu pounding machine because I want my future family to enjoy Fufu! Lol....
May the blackstars win the game against Portugal, taking place this very minute, today.*fingers crossed*prayinghard*
