'Hold my hand, it's safe....let's go, we've got a lot see'

 In life 
Out of life
In the midst of all
Above all
These words became hope
Those words spoken
Left my strength unbroken
'Hold my hand, it's safe..let's go, we've got a lot to see'

 Spoken were these words
That became life to me
They became homely
My heart is throbbing
Not with pain
Oh what's there to gain?
But with joy
There is someone I want to celebrate
One who held out his hand to me
And in his eyes I saw hope
That lit out the gloom of my fears

'Hold my hand, it's safe...let's go, we've got a lot to see'
I wake up 
And in my dreamy eyes
I see a  face
So lit up with hope
That I hold out my hand
Lest I faint
'Hold me, would ya?
Lest I sink into the deep'

Some days weren't the best
My woes had been a pest
That ate through the puncture
And led to the rapture 
Of the hope I could not capture
Yet, she uttered these words
