LAID BACK SILENCE

Like shoving things under your throat
My questions came running, rushing under your boat
Your answers never satisfying
And the heat between us would grow, ever intensifying
I know I should be ready to support you every step
But each time I tried, we would rubbish it off like it was just a 'pep'
Im running faster than your wheels would allow us
I have built a strong framework in my mind and I stubbornly think that fantasy would look good on us
But then again, I realise
You are my head in this journey
You are the driver
All I can point out to you is the blocks on the road when I see one or better yet, the bumps on our way
Until you move, we are all fixed at a point
So lead and let me follow
Because in our journey
I cant create perfect in talking very loud
Although perfect to you may seem like a fool's cloud
I can only create perfect in silence
Watching carefully as you lead the way
Helplessly praying that the Holy Spirit worked in your heart
That he established a service station right at the centre
He should do all the work
And I should be there to support you because i have never trusted a God who couldnt deliver on His promise
Until you make the path to our journey clear,
I cant fine tune myself to make our vision less blurr
So lead, I'd follow
Giving you great support than ever before
Because in our journey
I can only help
You are my lead, the boss and the authority
I wouldn't be able to move until you move
So I'm laid back now
